Low-Carb, 5-Minute Spicy Asian Chicken Salad
Tired of the same old boring salad?
We are, too and that’s why we went on a quest to find a delicious Bod•ē®-friendly, low-carb recipe!
This crispy Asian salad will satisfy your cravings for something a little spicy and it will take less than 5 minutes to make.
Low-Carb, 5-Minute Spicy Asian Chicken Salad Recipe Ingredients:
• 2 bags shredded carrots
• 2 bags of “Cruciferous Crunch” shredded salad from Trader Joe’s (or, you could use slaw mix + shredded kale)
• 2 Tbsp black sesame seeds
• 1 jalapeno sliced very finely into halves (more or less according to taste, we like it SPICY!)
• 1 rotisserie chicken, torn into shreds (check to make sure seasoning used is low sodium) • Juice of 2 limes
• 4 Tbsp Tamari or a low sodium soy sauce
• 1 Tbsp Siracha
• 5-6 drops liquid Stevia (or, you could use a drizzle of honey, but we like to keep it sugar-free.)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large plastic bag or large, tightly sealed container and shake vigorously until well incorporated. Adjust flavors as needed.
2. Pour into bowls or onto plates and enjoy!
Serves 4.
