Is Verve Energy Drink Pyramid Scheme? I am going to tell you that it is not. You may think I am biased because I am a brand partner. 

So, is Verve Energy Drink Pyramid Scheme? Before I answer this question, you first need to understand the difference between Illegal Pyramid Scheme and the Pyramid Structure.

Illegal Pyramid Scheme

According to wikipedia, a pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public. Essentially, it is a money game with no real product. The people at the top always make the most money from people at the bottom.

Pyramid Structure

This is completely different. Pyramid structure is the most common form of organisation. In fact, thewhole human society is a pyramid structure with a small percentage of people having the most money and power and the majority of people struggling at the bottom of the society. Corporate America also has a pyramid structure with the CEO at the top making the most money and the lowest level employees struggling to make ends meet. 

Is Verve Energy Drink Pyramid Scheme?

The answer is NO. Vemma/Verve compensation plan has a Pyramid Structure, but it is not a pyramid scheme. Here are a few reasons why.

1. Vemma has great products

By definition, a pyramid scheme has no proper product. Vemma has 4 different products based on the Vemma Formula, ie Vemma Premix, Verve, Vemma Next, Vemma Bode (including Vemma Bode Shake & Bode Thirst). Some of products are featured in various health magazines.

2. Own Manufacturing Plant

Vemma has invested more than $11 millions into building its manufacturing plant. This manufacturing plant has been inspected by FDA and deemed to meet the standard required.

3. Endorsed by Dr Oz

If you just talk about celebrity endorsement, it really means nothing. It is easy to pay a celebrity to endorse something for you. However, Dr Oz is different. He is the most famous celebrity doctor in America and being a doctor, he has to be very careful of what products he endorses as he is putting his massive reputation at stake. 4. Endorsed by Chris Powell

Chris is one of the most famous celebrity fitness coaches and he is featured in ABC’s extreme makeover, weight loss edition. He has partnered with Vemma to produce Bode Shake and he is also fully endorsing Vemma’s Bode product range.

5. The Business Opportunity Endorsed by Robert Kiyosaki

Robert Kiyosaki has written a book called “The Business of the 21st Century”. He produced a CD to accompany the book. Robert has also taken the effort to produce a custom version of this CD for Vemma with a message of endorsement at the end of the CD. See video below playing the end of the CD.

6. Winning Multiple Industry Awards

Vemma, the producer of Verve, has won many industry awards overcoming competition from many much bigger and well established companies. NBA is a massive business and NBA teams are very careful when choosing sponsors. There is a very strict criteria to follow. It is probably fair to say that they will not want to be associated with pyramid scheme and if Verve is pyramid scheme, their team lawyers would be able to find out easily.
