My Story
Before I went into network marketing / direct selling profession, I was work at a 9-5 job. And think that 9-5 job will be for the rest of my working life. I had 6 jobs by the age of 30 and was starting to think that my future wasn’t looking so good. I was embarrassed by my lack of results and I was desperately looking for a way to make something of my life. That 9-5 job really is getting to be overbearing and I’m fed up with the traffic to and from work! The only solution is to quit and start something at home but, where to start? How and what could I possibly do to earn a decent living at home? Do I have the perseverance, determination and the will to try something new?
So, what am I going to do?
Work at a 9-5 job for the rest of my working life? Or am I willing to take a chance at something that could be exciting yet challenging? A new adventure that could lead me to events in my life I never dreamed of or expected.
So in 2004, I was invited to partner up with 3 other friends to start an eatery business. Huge start-up costs, long hour, too many competition, high overhead costs, etc… The result was really bad and I lost about half of my savings in 2 years operation.
In 2006, I was introduced to work with my wife best friend as trader or agent. Our business is mostly involved in international trading business of wood products such as plywoods, sawn timber, logs, etc… Again, the result was not look good as well.
Personally, I think life is just too short not to stick your neck out when there is an opportunity waiting.
This opportunity is knocking at my door right now and it is completely risk free!
I was introduced to Network marketing or Direct Selling profession in 2011. I was completely blown away that there was a system where someone from any background could apply simple business concepts and systems and get wealthy.
Did I get rich the beginning?
Heck no! I made a living, what was important is that I was getting an MBA in real life business. In this business, I learnt the Consistency. According to Napoleon Hill, who wrote the famous book “Think and Grow Rich”, it all starts out with an idea and then becomes reality only if you believe you can do it! Henry Ford was told that 8 cylinders could never be cast in a block, Edison failed about 10,000 times before he succeeded.
The reality is that there is no such thing as a free lunch!
Successful people have a goal in their mind and know what they want…
